We’d like to show you how Osada-san, our strategic advisor joined us with its background.
Why did you join Kiara?
The clarity of the product and the size of the end goal resonated with us. Workplace communication has changed a lot since Corona’s remote work, and Kiara plans to focus on each of these inefficiencies and implement AI to improve efficiency. I believe that the market for communication AI as an aid to achieving better results in development, sales and other areas is huge, with hundreds of millions of people using it.
In addition, Mr. Ishii has the overseas experience and has concrete plans and contacts for the big goal of listing in New York. I thought that I could make good use of my global knowledge.
How do you evaluate Kiara product?
As the origin of Kiara, Mr. Ishii told us about his own experience as an expatriate in a trading company, where he suffered from complicated translations. This solution is more realistic than “something for someone else”. He is currently working on AI (natural language processing) for text data, and I think many customers, not only in trading companies but also in finance and other industries where I was working, will be able to relate to the story of how AI can improve communication efficiency and get better results.
Which part of Kiara mission do you like most?
The fact that we have no real competition and we are taking on the emerging market of AI tools for the future of work.
At the same time, Kiara itself is a global team and a heavy user of its own tools.
(Kiara’s team is already multinational, including Tanzanians, Finns, Bangladeshis and Americans, and they have been refining Kiara as a tool for their own company while practicing “global remote working”, which is efficient and convincing.
What do you think about Kiara management team?
I have the impression that many of the founders from ITOCHU are energetic, work hard and produce results. I think President Ishii is a rare person who has both science-based AI and humanities-based business development skills. CFO Kubo comes from JAFCO and is good at leveraging financial schemes.
How can you accelerate Kiara business together?
Through the contacts I made at the bank, including overseas, I can contribute to building a sales channel and a team that can compete in the global market. I can also use my financial expertise to advise on financial strategies if you are looking to go public in New York.
